Recorded evidence of what is actually there
Valmar uses ROV systems to visually inspect submerged and difficult-to-access areas and provide recorded evidence of conditions observed at the time of inspection. The asset stays in service where conditions permit, nobody enters the water, and the decision about what to do next is made from footage rather than from an assumption about what a tank of that age probably looks like inside.

ROV inspection is visual and observational. It does not replace structural engineering assessment, non-destructive testing, material testing or other specialist investigation where those are required to confirm the nature or severity of a defect.

The value of remote inspection is the record it creates. Depending on the scope and visibility conditions, Valmar can provide information that supports maintenance planning, project records and future comparison: inspection video, before-and-after footage, photographs, sediment or sludge observations, cleaning records, visible-condition observations, areas requiring further investigation, maintenance recommendations, and asset-specific findings and limitations.
Reports clearly distinguish between observed conditions and conclusions that require specialist engineering, fire-system, water-quality or material assessment - so the record says what was seen, and says plainly where somebody else needs to look closer.

Inspection Questions
Can an ROV inspection confirm a structural defect?
It can identify visible signs that warrant further investigation, but visual ROV inspection does not replace structural engineering, non-destructive testing or material testing where these are required.
What if the water is too murky to see anything?
Visibility is a real limit and the report says so where it applied. The ROV carries its own lighting and a low-light camera, which handles most tanks and reservoirs; where visibility is genuinely poor the inspection records what could be observed and identifies what could not.
Do you provide video and reports?
Yes. Depending on scope and visibility, deliverables can include inspection video, photographs, before-and-after footage, observations, cleaning records and practical maintenance recommendations.
